New Tampa Community Park & New Tampa Recreation Center

New Tampa Community Park & Recreation Center is located at 17302 Commerce Park Blvd. Tampa, FL 33647 in the community of Tampa Palms.

Here are some facts about the New Tampa Community Park:

• The park has 4 softball fields, 5 soccer fields, a concession stand and restrooms and is located adjacent to Freedom High School and Liberty Middle School.

• The Recreation Center has a 12,500 square-foot gymnastics area, which includes a gymnastic pit, tumbling strip, and full apparatus gymnastic equipment for all competitive Olympic events.

• The facility also has a large multipurpose room that can be divided into two separate rooms, a snack bar and gymnastic viewing area as well as a covered deck.

• Skate Park for skateboarders and in-line skaters

• Playground for children

• Have your child's Birthday Party at the Recreation Center. Staff provides set up of the tables and chairs, table covers, and approximately one hour of fun time in the gym with activities such as: Tumbletrak, Rock wall, Parachute games, Obstacle course fun with climbing, jumping and balancing.
